How many questions are on the real estate exam in Rhode Island?
The Rhode Island state salesperson exam is divided into a national and state section. The Salesperson Pre-licensure Exam includes: General, or national, section of 80 questions. The time allowed is 2.5 hours.
The exam is divided into two parts, general and RI state law. You must score at least 70 on both portions of the exam. If you fail only one portion of the exam, you only need to retake the portion that was failed within one (1) year.
The time limit for the entire exam is 4 hours. In Rhode Island if you pass one part of the Real Estate Broker Exam, you are permitted to retake only the part you failed as long as it is taken within one year of the date on your authorization to test card.
There is a $70 examination fee and a $100.00 application fee when applying for the license, which includes a $25 Real Estate Recovery fee.
